On the afternoon of 9 July 2018, the Witness Cross-examination in International Arbitration: its Strategy, Skills and Tips in Arbitration Oral Hearings under Common Law was held by the CIETAC in Beijing.
A number of famous lawyers and arbitrators in international arbitration, including partner of CLYDE&CO, were invited to comment on the cross-examination.
Mr. CHEN Fayun, arbitrator of the CIETAC and partner of Grandall Nanjing Office, delivered a speech regarding keynotes for Chinese witnesses testifying in a foreign court, and formed a moot arbitral tribunal with other CIETAC arbitrators to comment on the live demonstration. Mr. CHEN's speech was highly praised by the participants.
