2 April 2014-In order to follow the latest trends of ADR and to satisfy actual needs of claimants and respondents, Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC) has created a mediation directed by mediator(s) prior to the constitution of the tribunal in China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Arbitration Rules to improve the combination system of mediation and arbitration.

Further, SHIAC has formulated a Panel of Mediators containing 45 mediators, among which, 30 members are from mainland China and 15 are from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other countries.  And Mr. HUANG Ningning, partner of Grandall Shanghai, is appointed as a member of these initial mediators.
