On 18 October 2019, Grandall signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement with ECIJA, the first-tier law firm in Spain, in ECIJA’s Madrid Office, marking a comprehensive and depth cooperation in business development, training of young lawyers and market exploration between the two large firms.
Raquel Garcia-Argudo Mendes, partner of Grandall Madrid presided the signing ceremony in Chinese and Spanish.
Representatives from both firms attended the ceremony, including Hugo écija (Founder and Chairman), Pablo Jiménez de Parga (Vice Chairman), and AlejandroTouri?o (Managing Partner) from ECIJA, and LYU Hongbing (Founder and Chief Executive Partner), LEE Chun (Founder and Executive Partner), CHE Jie (Executive Partner), LIU Ji (Executive Partner), DU Yusong (Executive Partner), FENG Yuan (Managing Partner), Alfredo Solana López (Managing Partner), ZHANG Weimin (Managing Partner), Eduardo Cardona (Partner), Raquel Garcia-Argudo Mendes (Partner), DING Li (attorney), and LU Yuzhou (attorney) from Grandall, together with other distinguished guests from Chinese Embassy in Spain, Spain Bar Council, Madrid Lawyers’ Association, and Madrid Investment Bureau, etc.
Alejandro Touri?o delivered a warmly welcome speech to all the attendees at the very beginning, and then introduced the history and global presence of ECIJA, followed by speeches given by Jose Maria Alonso Puig, president of Madrid Lawyers’ Association, who were proud of the alliance built by the two firms. Hugo écija, Chairman of ECIJA, introduced the history of ECIJA and highly affirmed the important role of this strategic cooperation in the training of lawyers, business development and global service of the two firms, and LYU Hongbing, Chief Executive Partner of Grandall also strengthened that the cooperation will facilitate Grandall’s internationalized development.
Witnessed by all the guests, Hugo écija and LYU Hongbing signed the Strategic Cooperation Agreement. LEE Chun, Executive Partner of Grandall and AlejandroTouri?o, Managing Partner of ECIJA gave the closing speeches, respectively.
