On 20 March 2021, An Hui Wenergy Company Limited (000543.SZ, “Anhui Wenergy”) successfully won the bid of acquiring from Lu’an Group 53% of equity in Xinjiang Lu’an Xiexin Huaidong Energy Co., Ltd. (“Xinjiang Lu' an”) and 35% of equity in Shanxi Luguang Power Generation Co., Ltd. (“Shanxi Luguang”).  The consideration of the transaction is up to RMB1, 539,878,360.  Grandall Hefei Office advised Anhui Wenergy in the course of the transaction with Mr. ZHOU Shihong, executive partner of Grandall Group and managing partner of Grandall Hefei Office, Mr. WANG Fei, Mr. WANG Yaqi, Mr. SHI Qinglong and Mr. LIU Qi being key lawyers serving the case.

The acquisition by Anhui Wenergy, a large state-owned enterprise in Anhui Province, serves as a specific approach for implementing the policies of Anhui Provincial Government on supporting Anhui enterprises to invest in energy projects in Xinjiang, facilitating Anhui Power's further increase of power market share and enhancing its market influence as well.
